Building an online home for Toronto's creative hub,
401 Richmond
CONTEXT: As one of the few remaining low-rise heritage buildings in Toronto's entertainment district, and the only downtown arts industry hub, 401 Richmond is a vital and well-loved institution in Toronto.

OPPORTUNITY: I’ve worked with 401 on many projects over the years including exhibition designs, event promotion, way-finding signage and a video feature wall created for their Richmond Street lobby. Recently, I was invited to design their new online home, 401richmond.com. The site is content-rich and features tenant profiles, event listings, and an online virtual gallery.
As a community of creative tenants, 401 Richmond is truly a village within the city. Through a custom CMS backend, I designed and delivered a community-oriented web property that enables tenants to easily publish listings to the site’s events aggregator as well as manage their own public-facing profiles on the site, all without the need to burden building or IT staff ■
